The teen star, who was performing in Paris, ran into a pane of glass backstage midway through the gig in the French capital and, though he managed to make it through to the end of the set, he passed out backstage afterwards.
Taking to his Twitter page after the gig, Bieber wrote, "Thanks for the love. I'm fine. Just smacked my head and needed some water. All good. I'm Canadian. We are tough. It's all good. Just gotta take it easy the rest of the night."
The pint-size star has since told US gossip site TMZ that he is now "feeling good", but, unsurprisingly, has a "little bit of a headache".
He continued: "After that I went offstage and I immediately felt really weak and then I was walking down the stairs and I passed out for, like, 15 seconds and I was unresponsive. I opened my eyes and I saw the doctor and he told me I had, like, a concussion. I feel good. I have a little bit of a headache."
Bieber has had a troubled week, after it was confirmed that he was wanted for questioning by police in L.A after an alleged fight in a shopping centre on Sunday (May 27).
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Robert Wiard said the photographer called emergency services on Sunday after an alleged scuffle broke out when he tried to take pictures of Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez as they walked out of The Commons shopping mall in Calabasas. Bieber reportedly lost his hat and shoe during the incident.
Bieber will release his second album 'Believe' on June 18.
