The pop phenom, who was attempting to enjoy a day off from his tour in Israel, tweeted his frustration over being obsessively followed by the paps. In turn, his fans are making #cheerupjustin one of the top trending topics of the day.
Bieber sent out this series of Tweets: “You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places. All I wanted was the chance to walk where jesus did here in isreal.”
He added, “They should be ashamed of themselves. Take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous….People wait their whole lives for opportunities like this, why would they want to take that experience away from someone.”
Why are the paps following Justin in Israel and not giving him a break? Photos of the singer are extremely valuable, according to an industry insider, because they can be sold internationally.
“He’s a celebrity who is appealing in almost every market,” adds the insider. “A photo of him in a place like Israel – if exclusive could go for tens of thousands of dollars after full syndication worldwide.”
Bottom line? The photos will be even more valuable after today’s incident on Twitter.
