Justin Bieber has the a very special gift for his mom this Mother’s Day more Justin Bieber.
The Canadian pop star released a new song, “Turn to You,” on iTunes Friday that he wrote as a tribute to his mother, Pattie Malette, who raised him on her own.
Long before the “Baby” singer became the most famous head of hair in the music business, he was a baby being raised by a struggling teenager. “Turn to You” chronicles his mother’s struggles in a guitar-driven ballad.
“She had me at, like, the age I am now,” Bieber told MTV last week. “[It's about\] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that.”

All proceeds from the sales of “Turn to You” will go to the Bethesda Center, an Ontario-based women’s shelter that previously provided help to Malette when she was pregnant.
“#TurnToYou made me cry. my mom cried too. she was a single parent for 13 of my 14 years. never meet someone so strong!,” Bieber tweeted Friday.
