Dozens of Justin Bieber fans thronged along W. 48th St., camping out for days ahead of the “Boyfriend” singer’s free mini-concert in Rockefeller Center for NBC’s “Today” show Friday morning.
Symptoms were visible throughout the building crowd: Bieber T-shirts, bracelets, blankets.
Amina Morsi, 16, of Brooklyn, was first in line, having camped out with her best friend since 6 a.m. Tuesday.
"I'm here for his music,” she told the Daily News. “The way he talks about to ‘never say never,’ just the way he sings with passion. I think it's very inspiring."
Nearby, Carla Britton, 38, of Hillside, N.J., waited with her 7-year-old daughter, Jenessa.
Britton credits Bieber’s music with getting Jenessa through chemotherapy for leukemia.
"I have plenty of pictures of her getting treatment with her headphones on," Britton said. "She sang, she danced — she sang and danced through the chemo."
Other fans also pledged their love to the 18-year-old Canadian pop star, who has become a global phenomenon. An estimated 200,000 swarmed a square in Mexico City Tuesday for his free concert there.
Forty-nine teenage girls were injured in Norway after assembling outside the Oslo Opera House for a free Bieber show.
Carla Weed, 16, drove from Pennsylvania with her friend for the chance to glimpse her mop-topped idol in person and has been sleeping outside on a pool float.
"Oh my God, I'm so excited. I can't even tell you,” said Weed. “This is my first time in New York, my first time seeing Justin Bieber. To know that I'm going to be in the front is incredible.”
Danielle Canessa, 16, of Middletown, N.Y., was excited to see her idol perform live for the 11th time. She came dressed for the occasion in Bieber bracelets, necklaces and T-shirt.
“He's like an angel from heaven," she said.
